Firearms Policy

Open carry and/or concealed firearms are not allowed on our private property (in accordance with Michigan Law MCL 750.552) unless a guest is a certified law enforcement officer, able to provide valid police identification and badge. All others must secure their weapon in their vehicle.

All Studio C theatres are privately owned property and as such we have the right to allow or prohibit firearms within our buildings (MCL 750.552). We understand and respect that our guests have the right to carry concealed weapons in other public spaces and we hope that guests respect our right to have a differing perspective about where weapons are appropriate, thus prohibiting them from our establishment. 

Although we understand that this may cause some people not to come to our theatres, we also know that many guests would also not come if they knew there were strangers with weapons sitting near them in dark auditoriums. We have given this weapon policy a lot of thought and stand firm with our decision.
